Meet Jim & Rickie

This workshop is led by two respected tutors who both hold qualifications from the Spiritualists’ National Union. Jim Hyndman is an international Scottish psychic medium and demonstrator. Rickie Avitan is a trance medium and spiritual healer who trained at the Arthur Findlay College. Between them they bring decades of practice, teaching and service to the Spirit World.

Rickie Avitan is an internationally recognized Psychic, Trance Medium, Spiritual Healer, Clinical Hypnotherapist, and Certificate Holder of the Spiritualists’ National Union in Speaking and Demonstrating. Based in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada, she combines extensive healthcare experience with profound spiritual insight to support healing, transformation, and personal growth.

With a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and more than 30 years of nursing experience, including over 20 years as a Nurse Educator, Rickie brings a unique blend of clinical knowledge, compassion, and spiritual understanding to her work. A natural-born medium, she has dedicated decades to the development of her gifts through extensive training with respected teachers from the United Kingdom and the United States, including studies at the world-renowned Arthur Findlay College.
